St Paul's

Barnabas Centre

The "Supertrooper" building

St Paul's was built as a multipurpose building. However, it soon proved to be inadequate to house the young people's work and many other church and community activities. In marvellous ways, the need was satisfied by getting a second-hand prefabricated building.

A generation of church young people, "Supertroopers" have used this building. However, time has taken its toll. It has now become beyond repair. For several years the congregation have prayed and given towards a new communitry hall. This has now been given the name St Paul's Barnabas Centre.

In a marvellous answer to prayer, a gift day in Lent, 2001 raised over £50,000, which allowed the project to start.. The picturers below tell the story.
